[Hello Molly, wherever you are!! Let's say it's in the common room. Maybe Childe's getting himself a drink after their eventful (haha, event) day. What is he drinking? Let's say baijiu or something idk. He's wearing different clothing than usual, but it's just the dark gray and red version of his usual clothes because Genshin doesn't believe in outfit swaps and it's all I have. Will Childe ever button his shirt properly? Signs point to no.

HOW IS MOLLY DOING THOUGH. He'll lift a hand in greeting, then gesture for Molly to join him.]

Quite the day we had, hm?

[Hey Childe. If he's heading towards the elevator, Molly will reach out and put a hand on his chest to stop him for the moment. Not with any force, just a maybe not gesture.]

[It'll take a little time, but eventually Childe will come find Molly, especially since he wanted to check out the simulation room again anyway. Unfortunately it's jail now. Damn.

But for all that he's usually amiable charm and cheer, he looks serious now, hands in his pockets.]

[okay god i assume they crawled away from the SWEAT LODGE of the medbay at some point, but molly will circle back to find childe sometime during the day, raising a hand.]

[Molly's been avoiding people, mostly, but he's still wandering the halls attempting to keeping moving. Hiding doesn't seem to make it better. When he sees Childe, he'll raise a hand, but, the eye contact is perhaps a little too long, too sudden--]

[Hello Molly! Have one (1) freshly healed Childe, wandering around the base now. It's late evening, and he looks tired, understandably--but both his (gloveless, now) hands are there, and all his recent injuries are healed up.

He lifts one of said hands in greeting, though his fingers don't curl properly as he does. It's fine.]

Would you care to fill me in, comrade? I've been stuck in those pods for a while.

Childe shows up as soon as Molly is out of the pod and punches him directly back into it--

--no I'm kidding he does not do that. But eventually, once Molly's out of the pod and his fifteen boyfriends (and girlfriends? theyfriends? idk Molly's life) have gone to take a walk, he is here with his arms crossed!! MOLLY!!!!]

What happened to "routine"?

[sometime on tuesday i assume childe is in gay baby jail, so molly is swinging by for a chatskis

though he's brought a peace offering - a cup of tea in a to-go mug and a bearclaw? wow. he'll just push it through the bars.]

Don't know how you take it.

[You know, he genuinely kind of wants to apologize to Molly for having no Beau. But--well, for one thing, he doubts it would be appreciated from him. For another, it's not like there's much he can do about it. And, well... Molly's relationships and emotions have been made public enough, haven't they?

So although his steps falter a little when he comes across Molly, it's only for a moment before he greets him with a smile. Please ignore his tiny wings fluttering just a little.]

All of that really could've been more graceful.

The thing about Childe is that despite what other people think of him, he doesn't dislike hardly anyone. Regardless of how Molly feels about him, Childe likes Molly--and more importantly, he has a very good memory.

"We're-- something of a ragtag family, though I think she'd hit me again to hear me say it."

So after Molly's had some time and some space, Childe will come find him at the bar!]
