[Well, when he sees that Mollymauk is in the cafeteria, he'll go get Beau and sort of walk in, holding on to her shoulder in that way he usually does, and putting the other hand up like he's trying to appease Molly.]

Here we are. I brought Beauregard along. We'll approach you very, very slowly. Beauregard, I beg of you, if you get the urge to start punching someone again, I'll take the blow for our very mistreated tiefling friend.

[she's like, vaguely confused as to why she's being ushered but she's gotten into the habit of just going where caleb does. when she sees molly, and when caleb starts speaking, she immediately gets the most sour look on her face.]

I hope you remember you don't have a shield spell here, Caleb. [she says dryly. a beat.] Hi, Molly.

[Well if there was any fear still that it's Lucien masquerading as their deceased friend, this probably isn't super helping. When he sees these assholes approaching like this he makes the exact same face Lucien does whenever Beauregard gets near him. A little like you've just smelled an oops-stone in in the beer garden sort of expression. Then again, it's a very similar face to the one Molly would make too.]

You two are both assholes, I hope you know that.

[Beau, does it help if he's more making fun of Molly than he is you? He knows he's about to get his ass beat, though.]

[He doesn't seem that tense? He has no reason to be tense at all, and doesn't really get why these guys are being weird as fuck, but he's chalking it up to kidnapping stress. Just turning around in his seat to face them, arms back on the table to lean against it.]

Also did not hear an apology anywhere in that.

[Yes, they did, but it's kind of nice when someone's dead how you forget about what a frustrating person they can be.]

Better apologize, or he said he might have to punch you in the face to be even. [He kind of wants to see Molly try to punch Beau in the face, though. It ain't landing, bud.]

she gives molly the biggest glare, and then - throws her arms in the air.]

I'm sorry! I already said sorry, but whatever! Sorry again I guess! [huff puff. she's not actually that mad, they can probably both tell.]

[Yeah instead it's like a very annoying whirlwind of bad at emotions energy in here. There is no sincerity in this group to cut the spice with. Wrinkling his nose more, but at least it gets rid of the Lucien-esque expression.]

Eugh. Woof. That's worse. Don't like that. [Turning around, gesturing over his shoulder to the seats around him at the table.] Going to sit down or what?

[Beau's apologies are good and funny and honestly endearing. I mean, it's better than his apologies, which are always just [footage not found]. He'll go sit down, then, across from Mollymauk, with room for Beau to sit next to him.]

Well, we might as well compare notes and work with one another, even if we are only three assholes.

[that more than anything puts her a little more at ease. she flops down next to caleb, and digs around in her pockets.]

Three is better than none. [she mutters.] I haven't found a whole lot yet. But uh, I am in Winter, so if anything changes there I can tell you guys.

[Beau's apologies are actually very endearing and he liked it a lot, which is why he's letting go of the punching thing now. Or maybe he'll just bring it up forever to torture her.]

Spring. Don't really know anything useful yet either, I'm afraid. Can match a few names to faces if you like.

What I mean is that we've discovered we all have slightly different memories of things. Beau remembers a little longer than Mollymauk, and I remember a little longer than Beauregard.

[So that's good to establish outright.]

He last remembers around when we fought Lorenzo. I already let him know, uhm, that we were able to find our missing friends. As for the dorms, I'm in Fall. It's the best one. We have two cats.

[she pulls out the konpeito and puts it on the table. it's up for grabs for sharing. and also there's a flask of whiskey that she puts out, too, which looks suspiciously like nott's.]

It doesn't count if it's the catgirl. [she tells caleb, amused.] The memories thing is fucking concerning but I guess there's not a lot to be done about it right now. Uh, other than that, I know this place loops when you go too far off grounds, and people pass out if they get too close to the construction going on out there.

[casually just skips past lorenzo at warp speed]

[Grabbing the whiskey flask at warp speed, taking a way too long drink. Is the flask even still never ending. Better hope it is. After that, shaking his head and coughing for a second, but it seems to help his mood radically.]

Bunch of prejudged assholes too, for the record. Not that it'd be your problem, you're both human.

It's not. Another person in the dorm has a little cat named Kissa.

[He didn't get that person's name because they just talked about their cats and only their cats.]

I don't know who you guys are talking about. I haven't seen any other cats around here. Actually, there's a lot of places where magic just doesn't exist? Or tieflings, or orcs, or whatever.

Seems that way. Some places keep minotaurs in labyrinths and tell their children to run at the sight of a tiefling though. Bit of a mix. Fucking odd, mostly.

A lot of people from very strange places, but a lot of spellcasters, too. I haven't tried to advertise to strangers that I'm completely tapped, but it seems like a lot of people in the same boat.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm willing to bet my ki is blocked off. [....... she takes a big swig of whiskey at the "run at the sight of a tiefling" mention.] I've seen Caleb's already - what's your letter look like, Molly?

My powers are blocked. [Tapping the back of his hand over the eye, where it normally spurts ... blood ... when he curses someone.] Got nothing.

[As for the letter though, he digs in his coat pocket, pulling it out. It seems unopened though. Weird. Pushing it across the table.]
