[Now he's just getting stared at by these two weirdos and he shifts, a little uncomfortable. But also finally, for the first time in probably a few hours, he has a whole ass thought. Cards.

And sort of does a little jump like he didn't expect to? Have that? Weird. Digging in his pockets and starting to flip through the tarot. They are all covered in fucking glitter, by the way!]

[Fucking tarot cards, might be predictably the first thought in her head when she sees them, but then: Deserve the glitter. Wait, what? Why.

Mollymauk. [she repeats, rubbing at her neck.] And Caleb. I've got like a shitton of pictures of you both too. It's fucking bizarre when the only thing I know about you guys is your names.

... There's other shit missing too. Not just you.

For the last this happened to, it was all people important to them, who were forgotten. So if you do not recognize someone, try to keep that in mind.

[He will go over to look at Molly's cards, if he's trying to show him.]

. . . But we are the two you know from home.

[He actually looks up when she says his name this time. He's just shuffling through the deck, a little frantic - there's a lot of new ones in there, half-sketches and half-not. And then he'll pull out ... perhaps predictably Magician and Rumor. See. He took notes too.]

... Was my dad important to me? [she sounds sort of skeptical, considering her lack of notes on him, but. she gets distracted by molly.

this is very sweet... beau squints at the cards.]

You're the Magician. [she says, glancing at Caleb.]

Ah, hmm. Important is difficult to answer. You have a complicated relationship with him. [A pause.] As Yamato says, he is an asshole. You have a very young brother, though. [As far as family goes, there's at least one positive thing to remember.

He looks at the two cards.]

Ja. And you are Rumor.

[He hands you those. Hold onto them like nametags. While y'all having this sad conversation, Molly is just sorting through the rest of his cards, but he seems a little more ... active, now? The mumbling of empty continues.]

[she just looks down at the rumor card, almost confused. why do I hate these so much...]

I remember my brother. [she says absently.] Or - that I have one.

There's a couple people that I don't remember that I don't have very extensive notes on. Seems - weird. To me. If I cared about them I would've written something down, right?

[He tucks his Magician card into the pocket of his button down, peeking out so you can see the writing and the image of the red-headed man with the dancing lights.

He glances to Molly and gives him a little smile. What are you doing there? What's coming back? But then turns back to Beau.]

I. . . couldn't say, unless you told me who. Perhaps you thought you wouldn't want to remember just yet?

[He stops what he’s doing in the shuffling after a second, putting a few cards down in a fan shape, looking back up a them after he hears those thoughts.]

There's the Tsuyukusa guy, and then... Caiman? [she says, to caleb first. except then molly speaks, and immediately:] No.

[holds the card close, not letting go of it. a beat.]

Wait. You're talking.

Ah. [Hmm. The ones who took someone from you.] They're both gone, now. I think . . . it would have been hard to know how to write about them. And not important to remember right now.

[But then Molly starts talking, and he turns and looks at him.]

. . . Mollymauk? Mollymauk Tealeaf?

That sounds right.

[He blinks and shakes his head for a second. What are you talking about?]

Yeah—- Sorry. Hangover.

[ones who took someone from you - she frowns, but. doesn't reply to it. instead she just keeps her eyes on molly.]

... Do you remember everything? [she sounds sort of envious.]

Do you know who she is? Who I am?

[He suspects the answer is no still - some of the emptiness just wore off.]

[Mollymauk. Mollymauk? Weird name. I don’t know. I dont think I like it. What’s a better one ... ]

[Pausing, and then shaking his head at the questions though. But he reaches over to tap the card in Caleb’s chest pocket.]

Magician?

beau just gives caleb a concerned look.]

It is Caleb. But Magician is okay.

[You wanted to remember. Mollymauk. A little strange, but so are you.

He looks at Beau, gives her a little reassuring smile.]

Well that’s rude, calling me strange in your head.

[absently she just reaches over to rest a hand on caleb's arm, looking down at her notes.]

Could just call you strange to your face. [flips through the pages...] Or a dickhead. Apparently.

It is a good strange. [He says it in a light, mildly joking way, but his expression twists a little, uncomfortable.] We, uhm, are your friends. You cannot remember for the moment, but. . .

Oh. Dickhead seems right.

[He doesn’t seem THAT surprised by this. Unfortunately.]

At least I know I'm accurate with my notes. [she's a little amused by this.

she also sort of just. zones out for a second, staring down at said notes. poor caleb, he really is babysitting.]

[He really, really is. He keeps forgetting Beau is also headfucked for brief moments because she seems fairly normal.]

[WOW. This truly is babysitting. It’s going to devolve into baby fights. Anyway, it’s a little awkward because it’s sort of like being at a party with someone who’s sort of an acquaintance, but you don’t exactly know them. So you’re just kinda quiet for a bit.]
