[Meant to get this out sooner, but I got distracted by prom tags.]
Something happened to Luke today. He was talking to Lalli - about something innocuous, tasks and so on - and then he suddenly grabbed his head like he had a headache. He said he woke up, something wasn't real, and then he said the name Sora. He started talking about something about the first weekend. And then he fainted, and when he woke again he couldn't recall the conversation. He is safe now and doesn't seem hurt.
I had a similar odd encounter with Chad on Monday. We were in the library and I brought up the script. He seemed as though he had a headache and his eyes changed color to red. He was sort of yelling at himself or at something, told me to get away from him, said "You're already failing again. As if I'd lose to something like this!" and turned to me and said "You're on the right path, but you might be getting - "
And then he bonked his head against a bookshelf and woke up, seemed not able to remember what just happened. And was back to his ordinary charming self. Claimed it was a "trick of the light" and he could only go off my word of what happened, which "isn't worth much," and said we could not possibly help him because we can barely help ourselves. This part isn't very relevant, it is just funny.
It all seems to me to add up to confirming the theory that we are dealing with some form of memory modification, and that it is fragile, prone to breaking. We ought to be careful and not try to forcibly jog their memories without a strategy in case we do damage, but it is interesting. Shades of Vokodo, don't you think, Beauregard? Maybe if we stay here long enough we will also be so happy to go to school here.
The first weekend? As in when they were all "sick" and by that I mean apparently all of them shouted or yelled as if attacked and then were suddenly lacking any memory of what happened all at the same time?
I could see that. Something has happened to them. Chad's words to me make me wonder if they haven't broken from it before? In retrospect - 'you're already failing again' may mean this isn't the first attempt by whatever is controlling them.
I admit, I was at a loss as to what Chad meant by me being on the right track. I was talking about the script with him and asking if he thought it was really real.
Or maybe he's been mind controlled before himself in general and it's happening to him again
Was the mirror just out in the middle of the dorm or somewhere specific? And The fact that you guys were talking about the script makes me think that maybe it's close but not exactly it, like We're not someone's radio play or whatever but it's similar to that?
wednesday; before prom

The only thing I've heard that was of note was that Viola broke her mirror
Definitely reminds me of Vokodo
I told you guys that Kon thought what happened when he got whisked away was is happening to the Dorm Heads, right
Shit, this sucks

But I think we're certainly being controlled.

So what do you think? We keep pushing at them? Just ... carefully?

That being said
I think pressing is a good idea if only to see how far it goes
But definitely carefully
I don't want to hurt them
