Tell ye the truth, I wasnae convinced the wish thing was real when it was sold to me. But I figured I didnae have much to lose, so I thought I'd try it. ... Don't know if it soothes or worries you more, but they said the wishes can be pretty broad. Maybe there's a way to do both, with some clever wording.

Ach, trust me, I've been plenty selfish throughout my life. This just feels like the kind of thing I should aspire to be selfless about, maybe. [ to do both, though... he does seem like he's considering that. ] Well, it probably won't matter. We were in last before and I doubt losing more members like this will catapult us into first place.
