[ for a little while, he settles into this, this content, gentle sort of atmosphere. his fingers soothe through molly's hair, gently following the pattern of now familiar curls, petting him like an overgrown cat. gu yun is always thinking - his mind's always a step or five ahead of where he's standing, and he's running through a mental list of their participants and the likelihood of how they vote, or what arguments might have to be made - but despite that, his emotions stay steady and calm. content, really, despite the promise of harder liquor and their usual brand of foolishness.
just like last week; sometimes it's nice to just be like this. just relax, darling. monday, it had been more difficult than it should have been. right now, as he slowly lets the train of thought for tomorrow drift away, it's not so hard.
