Ah - about the coercion. He asked me if I thought it was possible. I pointed out I saw him refuse to kill someone for his partner, so it was hard to believe. And he agreed that would be the strongest motivation for him. So it seemed to put that theory to rest. I think it must be either some form of compulsion or a reason we don't understand yet.
Wonder if they can't say simply because they don't want to or ... actually can't at all. Before Beauregard punched him it didn't even seem as if he could say anything. Or I suppose was just lying furiously to try and cover his own arse. But it seemed the same with the other girl as well. Couldn't say anything until she was caught.
Suppose what this boils down to is we can't dismiss anyone based on personality. Never would have thought Rupert would do this sort of thing.
