At that point I didn't have too much to add to the conversation, or I couldn't do too much without erupting blood. Omi was subdued as well. But the door had disappeared. As doors do. The place started to demand a response - I can't speak for the others here, but I felt ... it asked us to think about how much we really wanted we came for. How everyone else is simply in the way. There is no one to trust but yourself, and the solution, of course, is to turn on each other. You are the only person you can trust, and the others are simply waiting to pick you off.
Douman suggested it as easily as breathing to kill them. But how do you know who was real? I'd just-- I'd just seen Yasha. Her face like that. Crying. And Yuel was crying too.
Grace, I believe, acted first. I won't blame her. It was a decision. They were, after all, fakes in the end. I decided against it, I spit in Douman's face and sat there waiting, I suppose, for something else to happen. [To die, maybe. Do you not like it, Mollymauk? Will you bleed to death in this cold room? ] Then Gojou and Douman - and I was in and out at this point - argued over who would be the one to do the deed to Omi. Seemed a heavy disagreement.
I had made my decision, so I suppose they made theirs. Then as Omi died, they too left. And then it was only me. Stupid, I think. My actions. Did I just refuse to look at the difficult decision again rather than face something important?
