They seemed a little concerned I might have lost something as well, but as far as I can tell I never did.

But I believe you may be right. No one seems to be concerned about it, so I must have had it before. But it's not old enough to be a distant memory... or so I must assume.

No one wants to wake up with a scar they don't remember. Means a blackout night and one that probably didn't go well. Should we come up with a new, better story for it then?

Oh-- bandits on the road, but you bested them all with swift kicks in the head. You carry the scar now as a badge of honor.

Oh I love that! I'd be terrified! Terrified and of course, I'd run headlong into the desert to try and catch a glimpse. Maybe you'd kick me in the head and I'd be grateful!

I suppose that's true, I do value my head quite a lot. Looks best where it is I think.

I am not quite certain if you're telling me that you would enjoy being kicked, or you would only enjoy it if it were delivered by my foot in particular.
