Well, being served is everyone's usual favourite part of drinkin'. [ cait is wiggling up onto the bar counter and playing with the drink properly now. by batting it around. Yes, That's What You Do With Drinks. ] Some of my companions back home ran a bar for a while. Mind, that was before I knew them, so I cannae say anything about the quality of its wares, but I've heard good things.
Any kind you can think of when you put a lot of grown, weird adults who can't hold a regular job down together in a bunch of small wagons and drive them around the countryside. And feed them mostly on alcohol.
Romantic entanglements, regretful hookups, so-and-so didn't catch me when I was thrown through the flaming hoop and now my eyebrows are gone, someone drank my booze while I was putting on my makeup. All that.
I've never regretted a thing in my life, and as you can see, my eyebrows are perfectly intact.
Mostly it was my job to solve the problems. [ he wasn't the boss, but he was the boss's blorborina ] Gustav ran the big picture, and I took care of the small things. Made sure the show could go on and all.
Oh, I don't know. I don't think I made much difference in the end, with how it all came to a close. But-- They found me, when I crawled out of that grave. Taught me words again, taught me how to be my own person. Owed them a lot.
And I didn't exactly quit. More that good things don't always last forever. Probably the same as your friend's bar, aye?
Doesnae everyone? [ not just here but like. in general. ] I've yet to meet anyone fully satisfied with everythin' in life. I'll admit, part of why I agreed to this was to see if they could even do everything they promised.

It's hard to say. They've pulled off some feats I wouldnae have thought possible, but nothing yet at the level of granting anything one's heart might desire.
