Hm. [ taps her chin. ] I think I feel confused. So maybe it represents the limits of knowledge!

Very clever. Like that one. Make much art yourself?

[ beams at the praise, taking a seat at the table. ]

I mean, I sing? But not this kind of art. And I don't think my singing was really art, either. That was just entertainment.

[ he hums a little, toying with the doohickey he's made idly. parts fall off, but he doesn't seem to care. ]

We had a girl at the Carnival. Toya. She sang for entertainment. Had a whole act, taming the Devil Toad with her music - every show the same until the day it wasn't. But that song still sticks with me.

I think it's, uh, complicated? Most of my songs weren't. I mean, I wasn't the girl in the act, you know? I was more like the toad.
