[Nice is sitting on the edge of the cliffs, arms wrapped around his legs and chin resting on his knees. He's wearing a hoodie that's far too big for him and the hood covers his white hair and obscures his face.]

[ going to sit next to him, putting a hand on his back for a second. ]

Well, that was horrible.

[ a little blip of surprise at being thanked, rather than chastized for sticking his nose into business, but he's grateful. ]

I don't know if I helped, but I promised her I'd try. I think she needs someone to keep a promise, every once in a while.

[There's feelings of guilt.]

I'm glad someone was there. So she didn't feel so alone with all that.

[ kicking his feet over the edge. ]

[He watches Mollymauk's legs kick over the edge and his eyes track downwards off the edge. It's hard to pull his gaze away. He has to force it.]

No. These things are hard for her, especially.

[ well there's a flicker of concern when nice does THAT, but he won't mention it for the moment. ]

...I did care about him. He was a pain in the ass, but he was still my teammate and someone I became fond of and one of the people I wanted to protect.

[He sighs softly.]

And then watching Pure Vanilla have to do it.

Yeah. Reminded me a lot of someone I know.

[ tapping the side of his own head. like. to indicate the nasty voice guy. ]

Wasn't gonna be anyone but him in the end.

[It takes him awhile to connect the dots when Mollymauk taps his head. But eventually it seems to click.]

Can't be easy having a voice like that in your head.

[A nod.]

I know. I wish it hadn't been but it was probably inevitable. Maybe any other option would have been worse.

Harder being the voice in the head. Not able to do anything but commentate.

[ its harder to feel helpless, with only your voice. ]

Maybe. Don't see how we had any good outcomes there.

I suppose. I don't even know what to make of all of this now. Much less if I was nothing more than a voice.

...Mizi asked for someone at the execution. Was it the voice?
