[Nice watches, seemingly genuinely interested if not still a little apprehensive. His eyes dutifully follow each of the symbols Mollymauk points out before rising to the other man(?)'s face.]
Hah, I see. So that means I need to work harder to see what the real truth is right? If the card is in every deck, it means that truth is the basis of many things.
[There's no way it could mean that one is purposefully ignoring the truth!]
The cards mean something different for everyone. But the Moonweaver isn't really a goddess of truth. The truth isn't always what matters, you know? Or maybe it's more how you use it. I think we're all telling a story, and parts of it are real and parts of it aren't, but you've got to know what to hide and what to show. And to know that hiding certain things is basically asking for them to be revealed at the wrong time.
You know ... I might have agreed with you in the past. Practiced it even. But I can tell you from experience, it doesn't work out like you'd want it to, most of the time.
But then does it matter? If truth is revealed eventually but at least you can hold off the inevitable and have some time before the fallout. You end up in the same place, in the end.

Don't you think that there's truths that should always remain hidden? Parts of you... of someone, that no one wants to see?
